Just in case you missed it in May, Harford Sports, JDyer strength and conditioning, LaxWorld and Thunder Lacrosse hosted a workout with some of the biggest names in Lacrosse. Including Paul Rabil (MLL-Boston Cannons), Brendan Mundorf (MLL-Denver Outlaws), Jesse Schwartzman (MLL-Denver Outlaws), Ben Hunt (MLL-Chesapeake Bayhawks), Mike Evans (MLL-Chesapeake Bayhawks), Jeff Reynolds (MLL-Chesapeake Bayhawks), and last but not least Jay Dyer who trains all of these athletes.
Each of the Lacrosse superstars started the free clinic by providing some insight into their position specific workout regimen, then moved into a group setting with the kids, going through skills and drills specific to each players position.
It was an invaluable peek into just how these guys train, and how they got to be where they are. Who would have known that Paul Rabil throws over 450 passes a day from just about every way possible including one-handed and behind the back. You may never throw one-handed in a game, but what I thought was great insight was how being able to accurately throw one-handed helps strengthen and train your off-hand to understand and feel that wrist flick that comes so naturally with your dominant hand.
Watch for our Lacrosse Workouts, Camps, Clinics, Training, Leagues, and Tournaments all right here at Harford Sports!!
