Kyler Mellott
“Coach Kyler joins us after relocating from his hometown of Bellefonte, PA. Kyler attended Clarion University, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and played four seasons for the Clarion Golden Eagles baseball team. During his junior year, Kyler led his team in strikeouts, with 71 K’s in 63.1 innings, with a career high coming against Lock Haven, posting 11 K’s in a complete game shutout. After graduating, Kyler used his fifth year of eligibility to play at Lock Haven University, where he also earned his master’s degree in Sport Science. At Lock Haven, Kyler led the Bald Eagles’ pitching staff in innings pitched and ERA, earning PSAC East Pitcher of the Week honors after a complete game shutout against Mansfield. Kyler has experience coaching baseball at all age levels and has been giving individual lessons to youth baseball players for over five years. Kyler especially loves working with youth athletes to develop them both on and off the field! In his free time, Kyler loves watching movies and is a fan of everything Marvel, Star Wars, and The Sandlot!”
