There is NO Off Season: After finishing up a full season of Minor League Baseball, Los Angeles Dodgers 2011 draft pick LHP Mike Thomas returns home to Harford County and Harford Sports for a 2 week break before heading out to Arizona for the fall Minor League season. Mike posted a 2.87 ERA this season in 45 games and 59 innings pitched. He recorded 1 Win 11 Saves and 68 Strike Outs. Mike started the season in single A but was quickly called up to the Double A Chattanooga Lookouts where he quickly turned heads. One would think Mike deserves a 2 week break before heading out to Arizona but that is not the case. After returning home late Wednesday night September 4th Mike was quick to Txt message Harford Sports owner Danny Taylor in a Txt that read “What time do you open tomorrow”? Coach Taylor responded “I’ll be in at 11am” Thomas responded “I’ll see you then”. There is NO Off-Season for athletes wanting to go to the next level. Thomas has set up a FULL daily training program for himself for the next 2 weeks at Harford Sports. “Harford Sports has been there for me since day 1 and is a BIG part of my success”. “Coach Taylor opened his doors to me and has supported me through the whole process” Thomas said. “I was able to use the whole facility this past winter and I truly feel it was a big part of my successful 2013 season”, ” I get everything I need to train under 1 roof” Thomas added. Thomas is also on staff at Harford Sports where he does Private Lessons, Team Lessons, Workouts, as well as the Camps and Clinics in the off season. Thomas is available until September 19th for lessons and workouts at Harford Sports. You can schedule by calling HS or emailing email@example.com . Thomas was a dominating LHP at Fallston High School, attended, played, and graduated from Ryder College before being drafted by the Dodgers.
