Jay Dyer – Strength & Conditioning Program

Harford Sports is excited to announce JDyer Strength and Conditioning (sponsored by Medstar Union Memorial Sports Medicine) is expanding to Harford County. JDyer Strength and Conditioning is the destination for athletes who want to improve their athletic abilities and take their play to the next level.

The program will be administered at the Harford Sports Complex and we are registering athletes for their Initial Program Evaluation starting immediately. The athletes will have 6 – 8 weeks to prepare for the start of their spring season. Not only will the athletes be prepared for the high school season, they will receive the coaching necessary to prepare them for playing at the collegiate level. I look forward to working with you and your athletes this winter and beyond.

JDyer Strength and Conditioning is a comprehensive athlete enhancement program. The training regimen is utilized by some of the best high school, collegiate and professional lacrosse players in the country. The athletes in the program utilize a periodized program to enhance their athletic abilities (speed, agility, power, strength, flexibility and coordination).

Outside the sport of lacrosse JDyer Strength and Conditioning is the training destination for Division I and Division III athletes in football, basketball, baseball, soccer and field hockey. Jay has also worked with athletes from the National Football League, National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball.

Below is an outline of a typical training week for a high school athlete:

Middle School Group – Starting May 14th
Mondays & Thursdays 4:30Pm – 5:45Pm
High School Group – Starting June 22nd (once school is finished)
Monday – Friday 10am – 12pm
Monday – Friday 3pm – 5/6pm – June 1st
College Group – Starting June 1st
Monday – Friday 8am – 10am

“Over the past 7 years as a professional lacrosse player one of the greatest challenges I have faced is finding a way to stay in top physicalcondition.
