“I play in both the NLL and MLL where in total; the playing time lasts 8 months out of the year. The only way I can maintain my desired level of fitness is by continuing to work out with the best trainer around. I’ve never been pushed as hard as he has pushed me. Every day we compete to achieve a goal of becoming the best athlete I can be.”

“Over the past 7 years as a professional lacrosse player one of the greatest challenges I have faced is finding a way to stay in top physicalcondition. I have tried training myself and have also had trainers push me along the way. Although these methods were successful for periods I was not satisfied with my results. In October of 2011 I started training twice a week with Coach Jay Dyer. His strength and conditioningprogram was not overwhelming and I found it easy to pick up. As indoor season started, after 2 months of training, I noticed big differences in how I looked, felt and preformed on the field. After my best season to date in my 7th year of Indoor lacrosse I feel as though Jay’s strength and conditioning program has given my career a new life. As I continue to train with Jay I continue to see results and look forward to a successful MLL season.” ~ Brendan Mundorf

“Playing at the highest level, in both the NLL and MLL, I have learned that it involves hard work, dedication, and most importantly, a qualified trainer who understands the game to prepare you to the best of your ability. I have been working with Coach Jay for the past three years, and with out a doubt, it has given me the best opportunity to remain competitive and solidify my spot among the worlds best players. Playing both indoor and outdoor, it requires two very different styles of play (very physical tight corridors vs open field fast pace) and Coach Jay is able to prepare me efficiently and effectively for both. I had my fair share of trainers during my time at Calvert Hall and UMD, but given what I know now, with the proper training from Coach Jay, I am certain I would have had a tremendous advantage.” ~ Jeff Reynolds

“Training with Coach Jay throughout my high school and college career helped me improve as an athlete and a lacrosse player. Between thestrength training, conditioning, and agility exercises, Coach Jay always has a reason for the things he does in order to help his athletes become better lacrosse players. The work environment is always first class, and Coach Jay expects you to always come ready to work hard because he wants to see his athletes be the most prepared and in shape for when they step on the field for competition with their respective teams. Although Coach Jay’s loyalties lie with Johns Hopkins, I am thankful for my friendship with him and the work ethic I learned throughtraining in his program. I am looking forward to continuing to work out and train with him in the future. Be the Best!” ~ Joe Cummings

“Before training with Jay Dyer, I had done some basic weight lifting/speed training. Going into that summer after my Senior year in high school, I wasn’t considered one of the top recruits in my incoming class. I was also told that I would have to switch positions from attack to midfield if I wanted a chance to compete for playing time. Coach Jay completely transformed my body and got me in the best shape of my life. I showed up to campus with an inner confidence knowing that no practice would be harder than my workouts with Jay. He had me doing lifts/exercises/drills, which translated directly to the field. Jay has a way about him that is different from most strength coaches. He does not yell and scream. Jay has a quiet confidence about him that all of his athletes’ respect. After working with Coach Jay, I felt a mental/physical edge that I had never experienced before and remained humble following his lead.” ~ Michael Kimmel
